Stocks of Winefront Monthly's "Collected Reviews: 2002-2005" BOOK have just hit the shelves in time for Xmas - it includes a massive 3500 full reviews in a snazzy, easy-to-use book. It's a unique guide, and a very useful one.
Winefront Monthly is written and published by award-winning wine writer Campbell Mattinson. Internationally-renowned wine writer and author Max Allen, and industry veteran David Brookes, are Winefront Monthly's resident Foreign Wines Experts*.
Campbell Mattinson has worked in journalism and publishing for nearly 20 years. He won the Independent Monthly's Young Writer of the Year Award in 1995, followed it up by winning the Best Australian Sports Writing Award in 1996, and was shortlisted in the Best Drinks Writer section of the international World Food Media Awards in both 2003 and 2005. In 2004 he was published in the prestigious Best Australian Short Stories annual and more recently, he won Australia's most prestigious wine writing prize, the Saltram Wine Communicator of the Year Award (administered by the NSW Wine Press Club).
Over the past five years he has regularly written on wine-related topics in various publications, including Gourmet Traveller Wine, the Sydney Morning Herald's Uncorked, Decanter UK, Australian Table, WinePlanet, Winepros, Lonely Planet Travel Guides, TIME, and various wine websites. He is also the inaugural Editor of the highly successful Australian Sommelier Magazine. He's one of those excitable romantics who was triggered onto an excessive adoration of wine after a fateful sip of a single wine. No wine has been safe since.
