The palate has marvelous depth and concentration, framed by blackberries, earth, a touch of vanilla and quite fine tannins to finish. Drink 2012 to 2018. 94 points Anthony D'Anna Aromas of rich ripe berry, black pepper and toasty oak with a distinctly perfumed aniseed/mint lift. On the palate medium to full bodied with ripe berry, pepper, toasty oak and some aniseed flavours. It has firm fine grained tannins, fresh acidity and good length. Cool and warm at once.
