Shiraz has a long and glorious history in the Barossa which has been growing, and making full-bodied Shiraz wines since the 1850’s. Today, Barossa vignerons are the fifth and sixth generation custodians of these old dry grown vines. The soils of the Barossa and its climate are ideal for producing full-flavoured, rich-fruited Shiraz wines capable of great longevity.
Colour: Intense black red Bouquet: Deep black fruits, plums and blackberries, with lashings of dark chocolate beautifully highlighted by the integrated and muted background oak characters.
Palate: Stunning rich full middle palate with a mélange of dark chocolate fruits with just a hint of aniseed. The fruit opulence is restrained by the soft fine-grained tannins. It finishes long. A beautifully balanced and structured wine.
