The often excellent quality of this wine can be attributed in part to skilled winemaking but more particularly to the acquisition by Jim Barry of the famed Florita Vineyard at Watervale, once a jewel in the Leo Buring crown, and sold during a dark period of the latter's history. Leo Buring's loss has been Jim Barry's gain. - James Halliday
