Pendleton Estate olive groves established by the Wylie Family, near Peterson’s original homestead, consists of over 20,000 olive trees producing premier extra virgin olive oil which has been winning National and State awards since 2003.
Our oils are made primarily from Leccino, Manzanillo, Frantoio, Picual and Pendillino olives. Blending the different varieties creates a selection oils ranging in flavour from ‘delicato’, a delicate light taste, to ‘robusto’, a robust more spicy taste. For instance, our early harvest EVOO tends to produce highly fruity characteristics known as a Tuscan style.
