With its opening in the mid 1980s, Domaine Chandon not only reinvented Australia’s approach and attitude towards sparkling wine, but it single-handedly created a market for cool climate-grown wines from classic Champagne varieties. This edition welcomes the ZD Chardonnay, a complex, rather wild and edgy chardonnay bottled without any sugar at expedition. Chandon also continues its great form with its other chardonnay, the Vintage Blanc de Blancs. Jeremy Oliver
