Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz 1998 A multi-region blend primarily sourced from the Barossa and Clare Valleys, McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek regions. There is a good argument to be made that it should be Bin 28, rather than Bin 389, which is 'Poor Man's Grange'. The emphasis is on the same lush fruit; the oak used is second - and third - use American barrels handed down through the Grange and Bin 389 programmes.  - James Halliday
