Lovely follow-up to the beautiful 2004. Packed with sweet fruit flavour – aniseed, raspberry, blueberry – and lifted to further dimensions by exotic notes of graphite, cedar and toast. Lots of brightness and oomph. Fruity, ripe, flavoursome tannins. A touch less evolved, and raw, than was the 2004 at this early stage of its life, which augurs well for the future.
