La Tour Blanche 2004 - because of severe selection in the vineyard, yield per ha was only 3 hl/ha, which is one fifth to one sixth of normal yield! Light golden, very concentated and intens on the nose and palate. Stunning botrytis, extremely long and deep on the palate. Lots and lots of papaya, melon and acacia honey here. It's a fantastic vine for the vintage, with exquisite structure and multi-layered, and with very long aftertaste. Better than 2003 LTB here and very close to magnificent 2001 LTB. May well keep for more than 20 years.
