Victory Point Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 4 BOTTLES AVAILABLE. I am a bit of a fan of 04 Margaret River Cabernet so when this arrived in my box, I took it home to try with some food. I decanted at around 3pm and first looked at it at 7.30pm last night. Medium red/purple in colour; the nose is quite lifted with ripe cherries, blueberry, cinamon, minerals and spice. The palate sits firmly in the 'medium bodied' territory with multiple layers of rich cassis fruit well supported by some fine grained tannins. This is certainly a winery to watch and whilst this wine is a smidgen off being a top shelf wine, it is a pretty handy effort. 91 points.Anthony D'Anna
