Parcels of grenache fruit with great intensity of flavour are blended with refined palomino grapes to create Seppelt DP 38 Barossa Valley Oloroso, the richest and sweetest of the styles. Extended maturation using a traditional Solera system results in a rich, full-bodied wine with a delicate balance of sweet honeyed flavours, aged rancio complexity and a lifted dry finish.
Golden brown; nutty rancio complexity, with just a hint of sweetness, introduce a finely balanced palate with a constant interplay between nutty, honeyed sweetness and drier, rancio characters. 95/100 James Halliday
