Scotchmans Hill Swan Bay Pinot Grigio 2008
Appearance: Mid straw.
Bouquet: Lifted nose of nashi pear and honey suckle, leading to a bath salt perfume
and background of ripe fruits.
Palate : Full and ripe with nashi pear, and stone fruits on offering mid palate
richness, which flow through to bath salts and honey characters on
the finish. The wine is supported by firm acid and a mineral back bone;
and has a long and lingering aftertaste. Enjoy over the next 2 years.
Fruit Source: King Valley 45%, Mornington Peninsula 35%, Geelong 20%
Fermentation: 85% stainless steel closed tank fermentation, with the remaining 15% in French oak barriques
