It may be a bit old school Barossa for some, but there is no denying it's quality. Bitter chocolate, pencil, anice, cedar, spice and tannin are all there but it is beautiully woven through the palate. This is a wine that sings Barossa and whilst it might not be a wine I would drink every night (or every week for that matter), there is no denying it's quality. Serve with rump steak. 94 points Anthony D'Anna
