The 2006 vintage in the Mornington Peninsula was slightly warmer than average. The bouquet is filled with aromas of pear, honey, earthy and chalky minerally overtones. On the palate melon, pear and grapefruit are surrounded by nicely controlled barrel-ferment characters. This wine will benefit from some age, but also drinks beautifully now.
