Unlabelled King Valley 'The Prince' Shiraz 2003 The North East of Victoria is starting to get a name for itself for making some really good reds and whites. This growing reputation has lead to a number of new producers planting vines in the region. With these vines coming on-stream it has meant that we now can buy good wines at a fraction of the price normally associated with this region. This is one of the years best quaffers. Very good finesse and better than some wines selling for 3 times the price This wine has quite a perfumed nose, of rose petal and cherries which is quite fragrant. These flavours flow through onto the palate which is quite smooth and refined, with fine grained tannins and a lovely finish. Due to its silky smooth texture, and it’s aura of class, we have decided to name this wine 'The Prince'. Whichever way you use it, I’m sure you will be happy. For $6, this is a great winter buy.
