Fruit for the Amery was selected from the estate's McLaren Vale vineyards, planted exclusively to cuttings from the 1892 Block 6 Shiraz vineyard. The Block 6 clone, on which all Kay Brothers Amery Shiraz vines are based, is quite unique in that it makes consistently superior long living wines.
