A blend of 85 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon and 15 per cent Merlot, the Cabernet Sauvignon coming in part from Annie's Lane Vineyard in Polish Hill and from other Clare Valley growers, the Merlot component from the Quelltaler Estate vineyard. Fermented in small four-tonne open fermenters, then matured in French oak (20 per cent new) for a period of 15 months.
