Unlabelled Clare Valley 'The Greatest' Riesling 2008
The nose is quite funky, with hints nutmeg, anice and spice. This leads into a pretty complex palate filled with white melon, honey dew and mandarin with good length and excellent fruit weight.
Made from one of Australia's greatest Riesling producers, with access to Australia's greatest Riesling vineyards. The 2008 vintage in the Clare Valley was one of the great Riesling vintages on record. With this in mind, the team at Boccaccio knew that with access to Australia's greatest Riesling vineyards and all things being equal, this was the year fo us to make another Unlabelled Riesling. Whilst many of our top 2008 Riesling are available for $15-20 a bottle, our Unlabelled Clare Valley 'The Greatest' Riesling 2008 is available for a measly $8.00 a bottle.
