A delicate stream of very fine bubbles with persistence, fine effervescence. A fruity, crisp lemon-lime scented nose, the high percentage of the Macabeo grape works to retain the youthful personality of theis enticing cuvee during the long ageing process. Development in bottle brings solid structure, creamy texture and harmonious acidity to the wine. Potent aromas vary from shortbread to strawberry, peaches to almond and marzipan. On the palate, this is an elegant wine, carrying the signature of methode traditionalle winecraft, finesse, sweet cakes, and nut-like characters. Medium bodied and mellow with a perfumed bouquet, intriguing complexity and depth, good fruit intensity on the palate and a long slightly yeasty finish.
