The Pizzini family established the Vineyard in 1980 and today grow Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot, Barbera, Pinot Grigio and Marzemino over many hectares. The Chrismont Vineyard strives to produce fruit of optimum flavour and character for the Chrismont and La Zona range.
La Zona translates to 'the area' the area being the picturesque King Valley, where cool viticultural conditions are an important contributor in retaining natural acidity and grape flavour. A new release - 'La Zona' captures the natural fruit flavour of the King Valley. The unique flavours of Sangiovese have a distinct Italian influence.
