This year's Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Shiraz Merlot is a fine example of the style, from an excellent vintage. Wynns Cabernet Shiraz Merlot is a rich and complex wine yet with enhanced softness derived from the blending of these three classic red grape varieties. The softness plus judicious use of oak has created a wine perfect for current drinking or short-term cellaring.

Maturation: This wine was matured for ten months in a combination of new, one and two year old French and American oak.
The palate is intense yet soft with notes of dark cherry combined with soft oak flavours. The finish is long and flavoursome with soft tannins and integrated oak. Whilst drinking superbly now, this wine will age in the classic Wynns style. Sue Hodder
