Typically a blend of 48 per cent Chardonnay, 50 per cent Pinot Noir and 2 per cent Pinot Meunier, sourced from the cooler parts of Australia including Victoria, Coonawarra, Tasmania and the Great Southern region. Up to 50 individual components are used in the blend to produce a wine of exceptional style and complexity. Dosage 6.5 grams per litre. The introduction of a greater component of wine taken through malolactic fermentation has added both creaminess and a certain delicacy to the palate. – James Halliday
