The Smithy 2020 vintage boasts lifted aromas of violets, blackcurrants and blueberry fruits. The palate shows beautiful freshness with layers of blackcurrant and boysenberry fruit intertwined with hints of choc mint and blood plums. The finish is focused and dark, finishing with long and rolling grainy tannin.
Gibson The Smithy Shiraz Cabernet is a classic Barossa red wine blend that can be enjoyed at any time of the year. It pairs particularly well with slow cooked lamb shanks or a seared rib-eye steak with garlic butter.
