One of the most renowned producers of the varietal in Chianti, Isole e Olena's Chianti Classico offers a brooding dark red colour with aromas of red currant, spicy red cherries, dusty cedar, light dried herb and tobacco. The palate is too characterised by red currant and red cherry fruits. The finish is dry with great depth and a refined aftertaste.

A very pretty 2017 Chianti Classico with a beautiful core of ripe fruit and layers of round, lightly chewy tannins. Dark cherries, walnuts and chocolate. Drink or hold.
