Pine Ridge Sparkling

Nestled within the picturesque Stags Leap District, the sprawling Pine Ridge estate was born in 1978, with Gary Andrus planting its inaugural vineyard against a backdrop of pine-dotted hillsides. Since then, Pine Ridge has flourished, extending its vineyard holdings across five distinct Napa sub-regions: four in Stags Leap, three in Rutherford, three in Carneros, and singular plots in Howell Mountain and Oakville. This diverse tapestry of terroir grants winemaker Michael Beaulac an enviable array of blending options to craft his remarkable Napa Cabernet.

Under Beaulac's watchful eye, Pine Ridge's vineyards are meticulously tended, embracing sustainable practices to ensure the fullest expression of grape character and sense of place. The Napa Valley Cabernet, a masterful blend featuring Petit Verdot, Tannat, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, is sourced from select sites throughout the region. The close vine spacing and attentive vineyard management contribute to the wine's vibrant, complex flavor profile.

Handpicked under the cloak of night, the grapes undergo rigorous sorting before undergoing fermentation, ensuring maximum flavor and color extraction. Following this, the wine is aged for 18 months in a combination of new American oak (30%) and neutral French oak (70%), preserving its innate freshness and refinement.

Captivating the senses, this deep ruby-hued Cabernet entices with aromas of ripe blueberry, spiced plum, cinnamon, and vanilla. The palate unfurls with layers of blueberry and plum, intertwined with subtle hints of cinnamon, culminating in a lingering finish graced by velvety tannins and delicate nuances of coconut and roasted espresso.
