It's balanced and is drinking extremely well now. Yet, it also offers great complexity and interest, and so will be sure to cellar gracefully for a number of years. Expect a robust drop, offering red fruits, violet and pencil lead on the nose. The palate boasts high levels of zesty acidity and healthy tannin. Slightly more approachable than cabernet sauvignon in its youth.

Boccaccio Cellars offers free shipping for 12 or more bottles of wine, or if the value of the wine is over $300. Fixed Shipping $12 Australia wide per case on wine when you don’t qualify for free shipping. Orders that do not qualify for free shipping will be emailed/ notified and re-invoiced after their initial order.
Beer slabs attract a $20 per carton freight cost Australia Wide.
Please note: We do not currently offer free shipping to WA outside of Metro Zones, NSW outside of Metro Zones, Regional and Northern Queesnland, or Northern Territory. For these zones shipping is currently $30 per box.
When you have part of your order that has an additional freight charge (Such as if you order 12 bottles of wine and a case of beer) you will only pay the freight charge on those items warranting the charge. In the above scenario this would mean Free Freight for the wine and one freight charge for the case of beer.
By default orders are shipped via Australia Post, unless you are located in a 3km zone from our store. Please note Australia post do not call prior to delivery, so please do not request this in your order as it is not possible. They also do not deliver during certain times. Their standard times are 9-5 weekdays.
The following items do not attract free freight and are charged as follows:
- Beer: 1 freight charge per case.
- Cider: 1 freight charge per case.
- Glassware: 1 freight charge per 8 glasses.
- Decanters: 1 freight charge per decanter.
Due to covid and the increased useage nation wide of the Australian postal service and the continued strain of increased shipping costs, we are trying our best to keep shipping costs to a minimum for our customers. We express our condolinses for those who don't meet the requirements for free shipping, however due to these continued costs we are unable to deliver to these affected areas free of charge.
