Cappi Estate is located in Shoreham at the foot of Red Hill on the edge of Western Port Bay. The vineyard planted in 1983 on a sunlit notherly slope at an elevation of 50m on red brown ferrosol over basalt bedrock.
A warm fertile site with maritime cooling moderation produces refine elegant wines.
Barrel fermentation by nature, this chardonnay is a rich swirl of grapefruit, fig and a lingering nectarine finish with subtle sweet oak and bright acidity.
