"From two vineyards, one at Kangaroo Ground and one at Woori Yallock, both in the Yarra Valley, though north and south, a kind of United States of the Yarra.
More flair than your average bear. Wild flings of spice, woodsmoke, cranberry, beet and macerated cherry, with rose petals and sweet cedar for afters. It seems fresh, free and structured at once, somehow. It also seems textural, which too is interesting given the raciness of its acidity. Pleasure and interest are the take-homes."
