Benevelli Piero is situated in Monforte d'Alba in the heart of Barolo Langa. The estate is a committed to preserving traditions and not abandoning the teachings of those who came before them, whilst at the same time supplementing this knowledge with the use of modern technologies.
The wine is ruby red with violet hues. Aromas of intense, full hints of violet, raspberry and roses. Harmonic and dry with a pleasant fruity soft finish.
Sweet dark cherries, aniseed, dried flowers and some exotic spice. It’s fleshy and succulent, plenty of flavour, tannin is ripe and powdery, has something of a ‘mineral’ feel to it, along with black tea, and the finish is long with dried sage and a mix of ripe black and red fruits. Flavoursome. Easy to enjoy. It’s a very strong release.
