It’s made in a more approachable style for sure, with a touch of spicy coffee oak influence showing over bright cherry and liquorice flavour. It’s bright and fresh, supple though, and for a 2018, shows decent ripeness of tannin too, along with a gentle earthiness, a solid flavour base, with just a little tackiness and furry tannin gripping in on the finish.
