It’s such pure Upper Yarra. Light, insistent, powerful-beyond-its-weight. Red cherries and cranberries, a bitumen aspect, dried herbs and woodsmoke, a tickle of reduction. Of the earth. From a garden. But ripe enough, fresh enough, welcoming. A lovely wine for sure.
