Founded in 1860, Château Tahbilk is one of the oldest family-owned wineries in Australia and a proud member of Australia’s First Families of Wine. Since 1925, the Purbrick family has guided the estate with a deep respect for tradition and a vision for producing wines of authenticity and longevity. Today, fifth-generation Alister Purbrick and his family continue to uphold this legacy, crafting wines that capture the unique character of the Nagambie Lakes in Central Victoria.

Tahbilk is especially renowned for its Shiraz, drawn from some of the oldest vines in the country, with plantings dating back to the 1860s. The estate’s philosophy of careful vineyard management and patient cellaring has created a style that balances generous fruit with savoury complexity and remarkable ageing capacity.

The 2012 vintage was one of the most celebrated in Victoria, delivering Shiraz of power, concentration and finesse. With over a decade of careful maturation in Tahbilk’s cellars, this museum release shows the depth and complexity that have long established Tahbilk Shiraz as one of Australia’s most distinctive and enduring classics.

Boccaccio Cellars offers real time shipping rates at checkout. These are heavily subsidised rates directly from Australia Post and will vary depending on your postcode.

Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing costs of postage we are unable to offer free shipping any longer. Postal increases have seen the average box of wine range from $30-$60, which can represent up to 500% of the cost of the average bottle of wine.

Your postal costs are calculated on the following factors:

  • Where in Australia you are shipping to (Where rural postcodes obviously attract a higher charge)
  • What in Australia you are shipping (Beer and water for example, are calculated in real time without any additional subsidy. This is because the margins for these products are minimal). Dry goods attract a discounted flat fee of $12 per carton (Calculated by gross weight).

Pickups on all items are encouraged.
