Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Australia’s most celebrated and collectible wines, first produced in 1954 and long regarded as the benchmark Cabernet from Coonawarra. Sourced from the top 20 to 25 percent of Wynns’ famous terra rossa vineyards, the 2021 vintage continues this proud tradition, delivering style, stature and outstanding cellaring potential.
The wine opens with a flood of vibrant aromatics — cassis, red cherry and earthy savoury notes lifted by hints of chocolate and almond. Plush fruit carries across the palate with remarkable balance, framed by fine tannins and subtle oak, leading to a clean, persistent finish. Awarded 97 points by Andrew Caillard MW and 96 points by both Ken Gargett and Campbell Mattinson, this is a classic Coonawarra Cabernet that will reward careful cellaring over the next two decades.
