Elanto Vineyard Chardonnay
The Elanto Vineyard Chardonnay is a beautifully layered cool-climate white wine, blending fruit from the estate’s three exceptional Chardonnay lieux-dits Verge, Buckshot and Seawinds. Each vineyard parcel was hand-picked and vinified separately to preserve site expression and build complexity.
Whole-bunch pressed and fermented naturally in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barriques, the wine develops impressive texture and depth. A higher proportion of malolactic fermentation in this vintage adds a more tactile mouthfeel, along with the savoury reductive nuances that Sandro Mosele is known for, including subtle hints of chalk and gunflint that will continue to build with bottle age.
After 10 months in barrel, the wine was transferred to large concrete vats for a further 2 months, followed by additional maturation in stainless steel before bottling. This layered élevage brings together freshness, creamy texture and refined mineral tension.
The result is a sophisticated Chardonnay with precision, texture and remarkable site-driven complexity, drinking beautifully now while rewarding medium-term cellaring.
Boccaccio Cellars offers real time shipping rates at checkout. These are heavily subsidised rates directly from Australia Post and will vary depending on your postcode.
Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing costs of postage we are unable to offer free shipping any longer. Postal increases have seen the average box of wine range from $30-$60, which can represent up to 500% of the cost of the average bottle of wine.
Your postal costs are calculated on the following factors:
- Where in Australia you are shipping to (Where rural postcodes obviously attract a higher charge)
- What in Australia you are shipping (Beer and water for example, are calculated in real time without any additional subsidy. This is because the margins for these products are minimal). Dry goods attract a discounted flat fee of $12 per carton (Calculated by gross weight).
Pickups on all items are encouraged.
