Mystery Unlabelled King Valley Sangiovese 2024

At Boccaccio, we’ve spent decades building relationships with some of Australia’s most respected wine families. That means when we offer an unlabelled wine, it never comes from an unknown source it comes from producers we know and trust, often families we’ve worked with for generations. That’s exactly what makes these offers so exciting.

This latest parcel is a Mystery Unlabelled King Valley Sangiovese 2024, a wine that would normally retail for around $20 a bottle under its own label, but thanks to the continued softness in export markets, we’re able to offer it for just $10 a bottle.

King Valley has become Australia’s benchmark region for Sangiovese, with its strong Italian heritage and ideal cool climate conditions producing wines that feel beautifully true to the variety. Think warm days, cool nights, high altitude vineyards and those deep red clay loam soils that help build both flavour and structure.

The result here is exactly what you want from a good Sangiovese savoury dark cherry fruit, earthy regional character, fine tannins and that lovely cleansing acidity that makes it such a brilliant food wine.

From the renowned winemaking region of the King Valley, this aged red provides a little taste of Italy from our own backyard.

Boccaccio Cellars offers real time shipping rates at checkout. These are heavily subsidised rates directly from Australia Post and will vary depending on your postcode.

Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing costs of postage we are unable to offer free shipping any longer. Postal increases have seen the average box of wine range from $30-$60, which can represent up to 500% of the cost of the average bottle of wine.

Your postal costs are calculated on the following factors:

  • Where in Australia you are shipping to (Where rural postcodes obviously attract a higher charge)
  • What in Australia you are shipping (Beer and water for example, are calculated in real time without any additional subsidy. This is because the margins for these products are minimal). Dry goods attract a discounted flat fee of $12 per carton (Calculated by gross weight).

Pickups on all items are encouraged.
