The Dal Zotto Pucino Prosecco is a beautifully expressive Australian Prosecco inspired by the ancient Roman origins of the style. “Pucino” was the historic Roman name for Prosecco, and Dal Zotto honours that heritage by crafting a sparkling wine that captures both richness and freshness in equal measure.
Produced using the Charmat method, this Prosecco delivers the lively bubbles and bright fruit purity the style is known for, while also offering a greater sense of texture and complexity. The result is a sparkling wine of true richness, balance and versatility, perfectly suited to a wide range of occasions.
In the glass, it pours a pale straw colour with a fine, energetic bead. The nose opens with aromas of green apple, nashi pear, citrus blossom and white peach, lifted by delicate floral notes and a subtle creamy edge.
The palate is vibrant yet generous, combining crisp orchard fruit, citrus freshness and soft mousse with a more textural finish than many everyday Proseccos. Its elegant balance of freshness and richness makes it ideal as an aperitif, while also pairing beautifully with freshly shucked oysters, seafood, light antipasti and soft cheeses.
