RRP $80, Today Only Pay Just $29.99! A 97 Point Clare Valley Gem You Do Not Want Too Miss!
Good morning, everyone,
We don’t get deals like this very often and when we do, they rarely stick around for long. Today we’ve secured something pretty special from a premium Clare Valley producer: one of their top scoring Grenaches. This is a 2021 Museum Release Clare Valley Grenache, built from 100+ year old vines planted back in 1920. With a bit of bottle age already under its belt, it’s drinking exactly how you want it to right now open, expressive, and beautifully balanced.
Here’s what the critics have to say:
97 Points – Ray Jordan (WinePilot)
Bright, lifted cherry and strawberry with an elegant, beautifully balanced palate.
94 Points – Mike Bennie (Halliday Wine Companion)
A fuller, more structured take with white pepper, herbs, ripe cherry, cassis and savoury, gamey complexity.
Best in Class/Trophy - Royal Sydney Wine Show.
What makes this even more appealing is that extra bit of time in bottle. You’re not buying something tight and needing years this has already started to soften, open up, and show those layered, savoury edges that great Grenache develops with age.
In the glass:
Plenty of vibrant red fruit cherry and strawberry layered with spice, white pepper and a gentle savoury edge. Medium-bodied, smooth and balanced, with fine structure and a long, polished finish.
Boccaccio Cellars offers real time shipping rates at checkout. These are heavily subsidised rates directly from Australia Post and will vary depending on your postcode.
Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing costs of postage we are unable to offer free shipping any longer. Postal increases have seen the average box of wine range from $30-$60, which can represent up to 500% of the cost of the average bottle of wine.
Your postal costs are calculated on the following factors:
- Where in Australia you are shipping to (Where rural postcodes obviously attract a higher charge)
- What in Australia you are shipping (Beer and water for example, are calculated in real time without any additional subsidy. This is because the margins for these products are minimal). Dry goods attract a discounted flat fee of $12 per carton (Calculated by gross weight).
Pickups on all items are encouraged.
