Dark cassis, blackberry and plum sit alongside cedar, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate and gentle spice, with time in bottle bringing softer leather, earth and dried herb notes into the mix.
The palate is rich and structured without feeling heavy, with Cabernet giving shape and length while Shiraz adds generosity and plush dark fruit through the middle. Fine-grained tannins, mature oak and savoury development carry the wine to a long, composed finish. A polished, old-school Australian red with plenty of depth and presence.
