Poached strawberries and spice, aniseed, some perfume, slight raisin and wet leaves character. Juicy strawberry flavour, some earth and dirt, a little sweet orange, dusty sticky tannin, and a pretty good finish. In short, it’s a good wine from a tough vintage.
