"Vintage 2019 showed excellent growing conditions, with good Spring rains and mild, settled conditions throughout the ripening period. This resulted in table wines of immense fruit concentration. This organic Shiraz pairs beautifully with classic veal dishes and light game meats, such as duck or quail.
Bright Purple colour. Lifted florals and all spice aromas. The Palate has flavours of fresh black berry and black forest all wrapped in traditional Baileys
tannins. A beautiful fresh expression from Baileys with hall mark power and depth. Ready for drinking now or cellar until 2030." - Baileys of Glenrowan
While it has the excitement of youth, already this is proving to be something special. It has plenty of class plus a core of succulent fruit. Distinct lithe tannins are key to this, as is the pulsing line of acidity gliding across a medium-weighted frame. Wow.
It’s a fresh, flavoursome, welcoming red with a bit of silk to its texture and good momentum throughout. It feels juicy but it also feels bold; it attacks from the outset but it pushes through the finish. It’s not complex but it does a lot right.
