Sitting next to the Ginestra Cru at a slightly higher elevation. It’s a cru produced by Conterno Fantino and Chiara Boschis. The first time we’ll see this Cru from Massimo. Monforte typically has one of the boldest tannin profiles of the Communes of Barolo. Nebbiolo from Monforte in the hands of Massimo, somehow usually shows much more plusher tannins. Truth will be known when we see it in the glass.
