An outstanding introduction to one of Puligny-Montrachet’s respected family domaines. Jean-Louis Chavy and his son Paul produce beautifully pure, precise white Burgundy, using restrained oak to let the quality of their fruit and terroir shine.
The 2024 Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from five parcels—predominantly around Puligny-Montrachet, with a small contribution from Meursault. A classic vintage of vibrant acidity and pristine fruit, it opens with lifted aromas of lemon verbena, peach and apricot, followed by hints of pineapple. The palate combines citrus and white stone fruit with fine oyster-shell minerality, impressive tension and a long, linear finish.
Fermentation and maturation in mostly seasoned barrels add texture without overwhelming the wine’s freshness. Enjoy as an aperitif or pair with seafood, grilled fish, roast chicken and creamy vegetable dishes.
