Richer than the Bourgogne Rouge's classical Burgundian Pinot expression, the Cote de Nuits-Villages offers blue and black berries on the palate and earthy tones throughout. It displays quintessential Burgundian pinosity with middle weight flavours that lead to a vibrant, warm and rustic finish. Will cellar in the short term.
A subtle whiff of wood sets off the ripe nose that flashes nuances of blue berry, black cherry and earth. There is once again fine volume and richness to the caressing middle weight flavors that also conclude in a vibrant, mildly rustic and slightly warm finale.
