Handpicked in five meticulous stages, the fruit is treated to slow, spontaneous fermentation in classic oval oak and chestnut barrels, lending depth and an earthy nuance to its bright character. On the palate, it’s a lively experience – the wine bursts with zesty white peach, lime, and delicate honeyed sweetness, perfectly tempered by vibrant, steely acidity. The herbal notes of sage, thyme, and a hint of rosemary add complexity, offering a dry, yet flavour-packed profile that practically jumps out of the glass.
Aged on lees for nine months, this Riesling has a graceful intensity with an unmistakable energy on the finish – a “lightweight” Kabinett that packs a punch. A stunning example of German Riesling, it’s both refreshing and complex. This drinks like a dream.
