Louis Roederer Rosé Vintage 2017 Champagne
The Louis Roederer Rosé Vintage 2017 Champagne is a masterclass in balance, energy and finesse, showcasing the precision and vineyard purity that define one of Champagne’s most revered houses. Crafted by Louis Roederer, this exceptional vintage rosé is a distinctive expression of the La Rivière estate, blending 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay for remarkable depth, texture and elegance.
The 2017 growing season was shaped by dramatic contrasts, beginning with a warm, dry winter before severe spring frosts tested the vineyards. A sudden tropical heatwave later in summer added further complexity to the vintage, making meticulous parcel selection essential. Through Louis Roederer’s signature infusion method, the freshness and vibrancy of the fruit were beautifully preserved, resulting in a rosé Champagne of exceptional refinement.
This unique method sees Pinot Noir gently macerated and infused with Chardonnay juice, creating extraordinary aromatic lift, vivid fruit purity and a seamless balance between freshness and richness.
In the glass, the wine reveals a luminous salmon-pink hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is intensely expressive, layered with wild strawberry, blood orange, vineyard peach and rose petal, followed by hints of spice, chalk and delicate pastry notes.
The palate is both fresh and silky, delivering concentrated red berry fruit, citrus tension and creamy texture, all carried by a beautifully refined mineral line. The finish is long, persistent and distinctly saline, capturing the hallmark finesse of the La Rivière estate.
An exquisite vintage rosé Champagne perfect for celebrations, fine dining, collectors, or pairing with tuna tartare, duck, lobster, smoked salmon and berry desserts.
A prestige rosé that combines fruit intensity, texture and remarkable freshness with cellar-worthy sophistication.
Boccaccio Cellars offers real time shipping rates at checkout. These are heavily subsidised rates directly from Australia Post and will vary depending on your postcode.
Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing costs of postage we are unable to offer free shipping any longer. Postal increases have seen the average box of wine range from $30-$60, which can represent up to 500% of the cost of the average bottle of wine.
Your postal costs are calculated on the following factors:
- Where in Australia you are shipping to (Where rural postcodes obviously attract a higher charge)
- What in Australia you are shipping (Beer and water for example, are calculated in real time without any additional subsidy. This is because the margins for these products are minimal). Dry goods attract a discounted flat fee of $12 per carton (Calculated by gross weight).
Pickups on all items are encouraged.
