'A savoury, structured and beautifully layered Pinot Noir, with a nose of dark cherry, plum, and woodsmoke. On the palate are silky tannins, plump cherry fruit, and charred French Oak.
93% of the fruit comes from the estate's organic Hua Nui, Winery and Pencarrow vineyards, with the balance coming from their Palliser Vineyard.

Intense, elegant pinot noir with black cherry, Black Doris plum, wood-smoke, anise and nutty oak flavours supported by a backbone of ripe, gently peppery tannins and juicy acidity. Accessible and attractive now but with cellaring potential.

Wonderfully ripe and splendidly complex, the bouquet shows dark cherry, olive, roasted nut, mushroom and floral aromas. Its equally satisfying on the palate displaying impressive concentration and flow, beautifully complemented by plush texture and fine polished tannin. Stylish and sophisticated. Bright, fresh, youthful and vibrant bouquet with aromas of baking spices and dark red cherry, velvet roses and black currant scents, French oak and wood smoke with a fine mineral soil complexity. On the palate - a core of red berry fruit flavours lead with cherry and raspberry then red apple and spices of oak. The finishes reveals some wood smoke and more baking spices. Firm ripe and nicely polished tannins, medium+ acidity and lengthy youthful finish. A wine for the cellar still with best drinking from mid to late 2023 through 2030.
