Bright appearance of light straw with a green tinge. The nose is lifted and fresh with guava, lychee, grapefruit and gooseberry notes. The palate is intense and lively with tropical fruits, gooseberry with savoury notes on the mid palate. Tangy acidity rounds out the wine and gives a mouth watering finish.

The producer has a long history on the Peninsula with this grape and an understanding of the kind of style it wants, which is a little bit texture and concentration but a lot of tangy, clean fruit exuberance. It has immediate appeal with its crunchy green apple, Tahitian lime, Meyer lemon, mango and snow pea herbals. So fresh.
