"Whole bunches (15%), matured in new (30%) to four-year-old French barriques for 16 months. An excellent and bright crimson-purple hue immediately brings to attention just how vibrant this wine is. Ripe red fruits, cocoa nibs, white pepper and a hint of violets in the bouquet, while the medium-bodied palate exudes charm. It's well weighted and structured, too, with very fine and persistent tannins rounding out a wine that can be enjoyed in its youth but is assured to age well also."
