A wine of poise, power and sophistication. Floral elements of stone fruit blossom, and briney, oyster shell notes are interwoven with aromas of fresh cashews. The palate is striking for its persistence. There is an air of place, with a long, saline acid structure, kaffir lime leaf and roasted hazelnut flavours all in abundance. Absolutely stunning and delicious.
Selected from our most powerful plots on our Estate in Merricks. The 1982 planted 40-rows plot represents the core of the blend supplemented with parcels from KBS. This wine has incredible power and the hallmark Stonier salinity that we see also in the KBS vineyard.
The Reserve Chardonnay is a wonderful representation of our old Estate at Merricks with the KBS vineyard being the core component and a smaller percentage off the Evie block.

Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing costs of postage we are unable to offer free shipping any longer. Postal increases have seen the average box of wine range from $30-$60, which can represent up to 500% of the cost of the average bottle of wine.
Your postal costs are calculated on the following factors:
- Where in Australia you are shipping to (Where rural postcodes obviously attract a higher charge)
- What in Australia you are shipping (Beer and water for example, are calculated in real time without any additional subsidy. This is because the margins for these products are minimal). Dry goods attract a discounted flat fee of $12 per carton (Calculated by gross weight).
Pickups on all items are encouraged.
