"This is the 28th release of the Turkey Flat Rosé. This wine was first made during a time when Rosé was an anathema in a region becoming worldrenowned for big, bold Shiraz. Turkey Flat created a style crafted with clear purpose to shift perceptions, demonstrating that Australian Rosé can be a fine wine and that the Barossa is well-placed to be its source.
Vintage 2021 will be remembered as one of excellent quality and yield. The first dominant La Nina event since the Summer of 2010/11 led to a wet Spring, setting up the best fruit-set seen since the vintage of 2017. While the Eastern and Western seaboards yielded to La Nina with heavy rain over the growing season, South Australia and the Barossa Valley proved to be an anomaly with long, cool and dry conditions that proved ideal for ripening grapes. The resultant wines are intense with fruit and colour.
With respect to tasting notes, there's tangerine and fresh berries on the nose, with a trace of powdery talc and white blossom. The palate starts with red berry fruit with a backbone of cool spice reminiscent of caraway seed. The finish has a deft textural grip and a sensation of lime. The 2021 release will stand up to a great breadth of food styles and has a versatility that ensures it will be enjoyed in any season." - Turkey Flat Vineyard

Pale but bright pink colour. There’s a little spicy, flinty, gently smoky funk over redcurrant and white cherry. Fresh and lively, just enough flavour, tight and focussed with superb fine chalky grip and engaging texture. Pink grapefruit too. And the finish is excellent, offering mouth-watering crunch, juiciness and tweak of tannin. Outstanding.

Super classy. This sits atop the Barossa Rosé podium. So sexy on the eye, gorgeous perfume diffuses from the glass with absolute ease. A belter for 25 bucks! A glorious creaminess floods the mouth on the back of red fruits and berries which do nothing but charm. Fine spices sizzle and reach long with a crunchy factor on close. Gallons of pleasure awaits. A simply glorious wine made from that equally glorious variety – Grenache.
